Hillsborough County Area Agency on Aging (AAA)
The primary local agency coordinating services for adults 60+ in Hillsborough County. Offers care management, caregiver support, Meals on Wheels, and connections to in-home services.
ElderSource (Area Agency on Aging for NE Florida & Tampa Bay)
Provides a free helpline connecting seniors and caregivers to local services including home care, transportation, legal aid, and financial assistance programs.
Hillsborough County Veterans Services
Assists eligible veterans and their families in accessing VA benefits, including Aid & Attendance — a pension benefit that can help pay for in-home or facility care.

Florida SHINE Program (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders)

Alzheimer's Association — Greater Tampa Bay Chapter
24/7 helpline, local support groups, care consultations, and educational programs for families navigating Alzheimer's and dementia. Free services available.
National Alliance for Caregiving

Senior Transportation & Daily Living
Practical services that help seniors stay independent and connected in the community.
HART (Hillsborough Area Regional Transit) — HARTPlus Paratransit
Door-to-door transportation for seniors and individuals with disabilities who are unable to use fixed-route bus service. Requires eligibility determination.
Meals on Wheels of Tampa
Delivers nutritious meals to homebound seniors in Hillsborough County. Also provides a daily safety check and friendly visit for isolated seniors.
